I like this paddle

I like this paddle. it feels solid and I can hit the ball pretty hard. Control took some time but I feel I have decent dinks. the only thing is that it's not certified and some people I play with don't want me to use it when playing them.

Great for control for those heavy-handed players

Good feel/touch. Decent sweet-spot, so, probably ideal for more intermediate/advanced players. Massive spin off of the face. Power is a bit lower than I expected with a Gen4 paddle. Handle is a bit small for my hands; over grip fixed that. Looking forward to the next iteration.

Great paddle, comfortable, lots of pop. I transitioned from tennis. This paddle has a little too much pop for my full stroke swings. Trying to tone down my shots. All in all very impressive. I look forward to learning better control with this paddle. Spin great super comfy. I added weight down low.

Promising and performs great; point off for grip shape

I love to test paddles. I have all the Roore paddles. While they may not be my main paddle, they do get a lot of playing time, and I often recommend them to friends. The value is hard to beat.
I'm still getting getting used to the power and pop of this Dev4 Foam paddle, but so far it performs well. With more time, I can see it surpassing Roore's Gen 2 & Silverstrand paddles. If the grip shape was more like the Gen 2 paddles, this could possible compete withe the Dev 3 paddle to become my main weapon of choice. I normally add lead tape, and it certainly helps with this paddle. I've ordered a Ronbus Quanta, so I'll have something to compare it to.

The nitpick I have concern the grip. I've been spoiled by the shape of the grips from the Coronado, Solana, Balboa, and Silverstrand. The round-ish shape of these grips are my all time favorite. The shape fits perfect in my hand. Further, it's the perfect size. Adding an overgrip will not make the grip feel too big on these. The Dev4 Foam paddle's grip is more rectangular and larger. It's on the larger side of my preferable range. Adding an overgrip makes it too large.
